Suggested Use

Augmentin BD 228mg/5ml Suspension is indicated for the treatment of:

1. Respiratory tract infections (e.g., sinusitis, tonsillitis, bronchitis, pneumonia)
2. Ear infections (e.g., otitis media)
3. Skin and soft tissue infections
4. Urinary tract infections (e.g., cystitis)
5. Dental infections

Dosage:

General Guidelines:

• Administered twice daily (BD = bis die, meaning twice daily).
• Dosage depends on the child’s weight and severity of the infection.

Recommended Dosages:

• Children 1–6 years: 25–45 mg/kg/day of amoxicillin divided into two doses.
• Children under 1 year: Consult a healthcare professional for precise dosing.

Shake the bottle well before use and measure the dose using the provided measuring device.

Store the reconstituted suspension in a refrigerator (2 °C–8 °C) and discard unused portions after 7 days.
