Suggested Use
Aquacel is designed for the management of:
- Chronic wounds (e.g., venous leg ulcers, diabetic foot ulcers, pressure ulcers).
- Acute wounds (e.g., surgical wounds, traumatic wounds, donor sites).
- Partial-thickness burns.
- Wounds with moderate to high exudate levels.
Application:
- Preparation: Cleanse the wound area with an appropriate solution and pat dry surrounding skin.
- Application: Cut the dressing to fit the wound size, ensuring a small overlap onto the healthy skin. Do not stretch the dressing.
- Fixation: Secure with an appropriate secondary dressing (e.g., gauze, tape, or adhesive film).
- Change Frequency: Replace every 1-3 days, depending on the amount of exudate or as directed by a healthcare professional.

- Monitor for signs of infection, such as increased redness, swelling, or pain. Discontinue use and consult a healthcare provider if infection occurs.
