Glentel AMH40 is a medication for high blood pressure, that combines three active ingredients: Telmisartan (40mg), Amlodipine (5mg), and Hydrochlorothiazide (12.5mg). These components work together to relax blood vessels, eliminate excess fluid, and enhance heart function.

Suggested Use
Glentel AMH 40 is used in:
- Management of hypertension (high blood pressure) in adults.
- Reduces the risk of cardiovascular events such as stroke and heart attack in individuals with high blood pressure.
- Used when blood pressure cannot be adequately controlled with single or dual therapy.
Dosage:
- Standard Dose: One tablet daily, taken orally with or without food.
- The dose may be adjusted based on the patient’s response and clinical condition as directed by a healthcare professional.
- Take at the same time each day to maintain consistent blood levels.
Note: Do not exceed the prescribed dose. Always follow the advice of your doctor.
Warning
- Avoid if you are allergic to Amlodipine, Telmisartan, Hydrochlorothiazide, or any of the excipients in the tablet.
- Not recommended for use during pregnancy or while breastfeeding.
- Kidney or Liver Impairment: Use with caution; dose adjustment may be necessary.
- Regular monitoring is needed, as Hydrochlorothiazide can cause low potassium or sodium levels.
- Avoid in patients with severe low blood pressure.
- Inform your doctor if you have diabetes, heart disease, gout, or lupus.
- Common side effects: Dizziness, fatigue, swelling in the ankles, headache, and nausea.
- Serious side effects: Severe hypotension, electrolyte disturbances, kidney dysfunction, or allergic reactions.
