Fleming 457mg/5ml DS is a broad-spectrum antibiotic suspension effective against various bacterial infections, including respiratory, urinary tract, skin, and soft tissue infections. It contains Amoxicillin (400mg per 5ml) and Clavulanic Acid (57mg per 5ml) to enhance effectiveness and ensure accurate dosing for improved patient adherence.

Fleming 457mg/5ml DS is prescribed for treating bacterial infections, including:
- Respiratory tract infections, such as bronchitis and pneumonia
- Ear, nose, and throat infections, like tonsillitis and sinusitis
- Urinary tract infections
- Skin and soft tissue infections
The dosage of Fleming 457mg/5ml DS depends on the patient’s age, weight, and severity of the infection. A healthcare provider will determine the appropriate dose. Shake well before use.
Warning
- Do not use if allergic to amoxicillin or other penicillin antibiotics.
- Patients with kidney or liver conditions should consult a doctor before use, as dosage adjustments may be necessary.
- Complete the full prescribed course to prevent antibiotic resistance, even if symptoms improve.
- Consult a doctor before use if pregnant or breastfeeding, as amoxicillin passes into breast milk.
- Inform the doctor about other medications, as Fleming 457mg/5ml DS can interact with drugs like anticoagulants and other antibiotics.
- Common side effects include nausea, diarrhoea, and skin rash. If severe allergic reactions occur, such as difficulty breathing or swelling, seek medical attention immediately.
Store at room temperature, away from direct sunlight, and keep out of reach of children. Store in the refrigerator at between 2°C to 8°C. after reconstitution. use within 7 days after reconstitution.
