Co Aprovel Tabs 150mg is a medication for high blood pressure, combining Irbesartan (150mg), an angiotensin II receptor blocker that relaxes blood vessels, and Hydrochlorothiazide (12.5mg), a diuretic that removes excess salt and water. Together, they effectively lower blood pressure by relaxing blood vessels and reducing fluid retention.

Co Aprovel Tabs 150mg is used to treat high blood pressure in patients who do not respond well to irbesartan or hydrochlorothiazide alone. The usual dose is one tablet taken once a day. Your doctor may adjust the dose based on how you respond to the medication. It’s important to follow the dosage instructions from your healthcare provider.
Warning
- Do not use Co Aprovel Tabs 150mg if pregnant, as it may harm the fetus. Stop if you become pregnant.
- Monitor kidney function and electrolyte levels in patients with kidney issues, and exercise caution in those with serious liver conditions. Hydrochlorothiazide can cause electrolyte imbalances.
- Irbesartan and hydrochlorothiazide may lower blood pressure, especially in dehydrated individuals.
- Irbesartan can increase potassium levels, particularly in those with kidney problems or diabetes.
- Monitor lithium levels closely. Always consult your healthcare provider before starting or changing any medication.
