No Spa 40mg Tablets are an antispasmodic medication used to relieve pain and discomfort caused by smooth muscle spasms in various parts of the body, including the gastrointestinal tract, biliary tract, urinary tract, and genital tract. Active Substance: Drotaverine Hydrochloride 40mg.
Anti-spasmodics
Suggested Use
No Spa 40mg Tablets are used to treat:
- Smooth muscle spasms in conditions such as gallstones, cholecystitis (inflammation of the gallbladder), and biliary colic.
- Urinary tract spasms due to kidney stones, ureteral stones, and cystitis (inflammation of the bladder).
- Menstrual pain and abdominal pain caused by smooth muscle spasms.
- Gastrointestinal colicky pain associated with conditions like irritable bowel syndrome and ulcers.
Dosage:
The recommended dosage for adults is:
- 1-2 tablets (40-80 mg) taken 2-3 times a day, with a maximum of 6 tablets (240 mg) per day.
- Children aged 1-6 years: 20 mg 3-4 times daily.
- Children aged over 6 years: 40 mg 3 times daily.
Warning
- Not recommended for individuals with severe renal, hepatic, or cardiac dysfunction, or porphyria.
- Generally well-tolerated, but may cause mild side effects such as nausea, dizziness, or headache.
- Pregnancy and Breastfeeding: Use with caution and only if clearly needed.
- Consult your doctor before using with other medications.
