Misoprost 200 Tablets include 200 micrograms of Misoprostol, a synthetic analogue of prostaglandin E1 (PGE1). They are often used in gynaecology and gastroenterology to induce contractions in the uterus and to protect the gastric lining.

Suggested Use
Misoprost 200 Tablets are indicated for:
- Medical termination of pregnancy in combination with mifepristone.
- Induction of labour in cases where it is clinically justified.
- Management of postpartum haemorrhage (PPH) due to uterine atony.
- Prevention and treatment of NSAID-induced gastric ulcers in at-risk patients.
The dosage will be personalized by the healthcare provider based on the specific condition being treated.
Warning
- Misoprost 200 Tablets can cause birth defects, premature birth, uterine rupture, or miscarriage. Do not use if pregnant unless for medical abortion.
- Do not use if allergic to misoprostol or other prostaglandins.
- Common side effects include nausea, vomiting, diarrhoea, abdominal pain, and uterine bleeding. Serious side effects may include severe allergic reactions, dehydration, and uterine rupture.
- Inform your doctor about all medications you are taking, as misoprostol can interact with other drugs.
- Use with caution if breastfeeding. Consult your doctor before use.
