Suggested Use
Lamisil Cream is used to treat fungal infections of the skin, including:
- Athlete’s foot (tinea pedis)
- Ringworm (tinea corporis)
- Jock itch (tinea cruris)
- Yeast infections of the skin caused by Candida species.
Dosage:
- Adults and children 12 years and older: Apply a thin layer of the cream to the affected area once or twice daily, as directed by your healthcare provider. The duration of treatment typically ranges from 1 to 4 weeks, depending on the type and severity of the infection.
- Children under 12 years: Use only under the guidance of a healthcare provider.
Warning
- Do not use Lamisil Cream if you are allergic to terbinafine or any of the other ingredients in the cream.
- Discontinue use if you experience severe irritation, redness, or blistering at the application site.
- Avoid contact with eyes, mouth, and other mucous membranes. If accidental contact occurs, rinse thoroughly with water.
- Consult your healthcare provider before using Lamisil Cream if you are pregnant or breastfeeding.
- Common side effects include itching, redness, and a burning sensation at the application site. Seek medical attention if you experience severe side effects such as rash, swelling, or difficulty breathing.
