Janumet 50/500mg Tablets combine sitagliptin and metformin hydrochloride to help adults with type 2 diabetes manage blood sugar when diet, exercise, and other medications are inadequate. Sitagliptin (50 mg) boosts insulin release and lowers glucagon, while metformin (500 mg) reduces liver glucose production and improves insulin sensitivity.
