Itracon 100mg Capsules contain itraconazole, an antifungal medication used to treat various fungal infections. Each capsule contains 100 mg of itraconazole, which works by inhibiting the synthesis of ergosterol, a vital component of fungal cell membranes.

Suggested Use
Itracon 100mg Capsules are used to treat a variety of fungal infections, including:
- Oropharyngeal candidiasis
- Vulvovaginal candidiasis
- Pityriasis versicolor
- Tinea pedis (athlete’s foot)
- Tinea cruris (jock itch)
- Tinea corporis (ringworm)
- Tinea manuum (hand infection)
- Onychomycosis (nail infection)
- Histoplasmosis
- Systemic candidiasis
- Aspergillosis
- Cryptococcosis (including cryptococcal meningitis).
Dosage
The dosage of Itracon 100mg Capsules varies depending on the type and severity of the infection.
Warning
- Itraconazole should not be used in patients with a history of heart failure.
- Use with caution in patients with liver or kidney disease.
- Itraconazole may harm an unborn baby. Avoid use during pregnancy and for 2 months after the last dose.
- Itraconazole passes into breast milk. Consult a healthcare provider before use.
- Common side effects include headache, dizziness, nausea, vomiting, stomach pain, diarrhoea, constipation, and abnormal liver function tests.
