Glentel AMH 80 is a medication for high blood pressure, combining three active ingredients: Telmisartan (80mg), Amlodipine (5mg), and Hydrochlorothiazide (12.5mg). These components work together to relax blood vessels, eliminate excess fluid, and enhance heart function.

Suggested Use
Glentel AMH 80 is indicated for:
- Management of Hypertension: Lowering high blood pressure to reduce the risk of stroke, heart attack, and kidney complications.
- Cardiovascular Risk Reduction: Reducing strain on the heart and promoting long-term cardiovascular health in patients with persistent hypertension.
Dosage:
- Adult Dosage: One tablet daily, preferably taken at the same time each day, with or without food.
- Missed Dose: If a dose is missed, take it as soon as remembered. If it is near the time for the next dose, skip the missed dose. Do not double the dose.
- Adjustment: Dosage may need to be adjusted by a healthcare provider based on individual response and underlying conditions.
Warning
- Contraindications:
- Known hypersensitivity to any of the active ingredients.
- Severe liver or kidney impairment.
- Pregnancy and breastfeeding.
- Cautions:
- Monitor blood pressure regularly to avoid hypotension.
- May cause dizziness; avoid driving or operating machinery until you know how it affects you.
- Use with caution in patients with electrolyte imbalances or diabetes.
- Avoid excessive consumption of alcohol, which can enhance side effects.
- Potential Side Effects:
- Common: Headache, dizziness, fatigue, swelling of hands/feet (oedema), or nausea.
- Rare: Allergic reactions, electrolyte disturbances, or significant hypotension.
- Drug Interactions:
- Avoid combining with other blood pressure-lowering medications without consulting a doctor.
- NSAIDs may reduce the effectiveness of this medication.
- Lithium levels may be increased; monitor closely if used concurrently.
