Gaviscon Peppermint Liquid belongs to a group called ‘reflux suppressants’. It provides fast, soothing, and long-lasting relief from heartburn and indigestion. It forms a protective layer on top of the stomach contents to prevent stomach acid from escaping into the food pipe, reducing pain and discomfort.
Each 10 ml dose of Gaviscon Peppermint Liquid Relief contains:
- 500mg Sodium Alginate
- 267mg Sodium Bicarbonate
- 160mg Calcium Carbonate

Suggested Use
- Relief of heartburn and acid reflux
- Treatment of indigestion and dyspepsia
- Protection against stomach acid irritation in conditions like gastroesophageal reflux disease (GERD)
- Relief from acid regurgitation during pregnancy or after meals
Dosage:
- Adults and children over 12 years: 10-20ml after meals and at bedtime
- Children 6–12 years: 5-10ml after meals and at bedtime
- Children under 6 years: Not recommended unless advised by a doctor
Warning
- Do not exceed the recommended dose.
- Not suitable for individuals with severe kidney problems due to sodium and calcium content.
- Consult a doctor if symptoms persist for more than 7 days.
- Avoid if allergic to any ingredients.
- Contains sodium – consult a doctor if on a low-sodium diet.
- Safe for use in pregnancy and breastfeeding under medical supervision.
