Suggested Use
Gaviscon Double Action Suspension is used for:
- Relief of heartburn and acid reflux
- Treatment of indigestion and dyspepsia
- Prevention of acid regurgitation, particularly after meals or during pregnancy
Dosage and Administration:
Adults and children over 12 years:
- Take 10-20ml (two to four 5ml spoonfuls) after meals and at bedtime, up to four times a day.
- Shake well before use.
Children under 12 years:
- Only to be used under medical supervision.
Warning
- Do not use if allergic to any of the ingredients.
- Consult a doctor if symptoms persist for more than 7 days.
- Safe for use during pregnancy and breastfeeding, but medical advice is recommended.
- May interact with other medications—take at least 2 hours apart from other oral drugs.
- Contains sodium, calcium, and potassium—caution advised in individuals with kidney disease or those on a low-sodium diet.
