Fleming 228.5mg/5ml is an antibiotic oral suspension that combines Amoxicillin (as amoxicillin trihydrate) 200mg and Clavulanic Acid (as potassium clavulanate) 28.5mg. It is indicated for the treatment of various bacterial infections and is formulated for easy administration, making it ideal for patients of all ages, including children and adults who may have difficulty swallowing tablets.

Suggested Use
Fleming is typically prescribed to treat infections caused by susceptible bacteria, including:
- Respiratory tract infections (e.g., sinusitis, bronchitis, pneumonia)
- Ear infections (e.g., otitis media)
- Urinary tract infections
- Skin and soft tissue infections
- Dental infections
The doctor will determine the appropriate dosage. Shake the bottle well before each dose. Use the measuring cup or spoon provided to ensure accurate dosing.
Warning
- Do not use if allergic to Amoxicillin, Clavulanic Acid, penicillin, or other beta-lactam antibiotics.
- Seek immediate medical attention if you experience symptoms like difficulty breathing, skin rash, itching, or swelling (particularly of the face and throat).
- Diarrhea may occur, especially if used for extended periods. Consult a doctor if diarrhoea is persistent or severe.
- Dose adjustments may be necessary; inform your doctor if you have any liver or kidney problems.
- May interact with certain medications, such as anticoagulants (e.g., warfarin) or methotrexate. Inform your doctor of all medications you are taking.
- Use only if needed and prescribed by a healthcare professional.
- Always complete the full course of antibiotic treatment, even if symptoms improve, to prevent antibiotic resistance.
- Store below 25°C. After reconstitution, keep the suspension refrigerated and discard any unused portion after 7 days.
