Exoderil Cream contains 0.1% Naftifine hydrochloride, an effective antifungal agent for topical use. It alleviates symptoms such as itching, redness, and discomfort linked to infections, aiding in quick healing.
Anti-Fungals
Suggested Use
Exoderil 0.1% Cream is used for the treatment of various skin fungal infections, including:
- Tinea pedis (athlete’s foot)
- Tinea cruris (jock itch)
- Tinea corporis (ringworm)
- Cutaneous candidiasis and certain other yeast infections
- Pityriasis (tinea) versicolor
Dosage and Administration:
- Adults and Children (12 years and older): Clean and dry the affected area before application. Gently apply a small amount to the entire area, extending a bit beyond the infection’s visible edges.
Use the cream consistently, once or twice a day for 2-4 weeks, depending on the severity and location of the infection. For resistant infections like athlete’s foot, treatment may last up to 6 weeks.
Warning
- For External Use Only: Avoid contact with eyes, mouth, and other mucous membranes. Rinse thoroughly with water if accidental contact occurs.
- Discontinue use if you experience severe irritation, rash, or other signs of an allergic reaction.
- This cream is intended for skin infections only. It is not recommended for use on fungal infections of the nails or scalp.
- Consult a healthcare provider before using Exoderil if you are pregnant, planning to become pregnant, or breastfeeding.
- Exoderil Cream is generally not recommended for children under 12 unless directed by a doctor.
- Common side effects are mild and may include: Localized burning or stinging; Redness, itching, or dryness at the application site.
