KSh 4,400.00

Creon 10,000 IU Capsules are a prescribed medication that acts as a replacement for the enzymes the pancreas normally produces to help digest food. These enzymes are essential for breaking down proteins, fats, and carbohydrates in the intestines.

Digestive Health

Suggested Use

Creon is used to treat problems where the pancreas does not make enough enzymes for digesting food. This includes:

  1. Exocrine Pancreatic Insufficiency (EPI) from cystic fibrosis,
  2. Chronic pancreatitis, or after pancreas surgery, as well as other issues that cause difficulty in digestion.

It is best to take Creon capsules during meals and snacks. Your doctor will decide the right dosage based on your needs and the severity of your condition.

Warning

  • Avoid taking Creon if you have an allergy to pork protein or any ingredients in the capsule.
  • Swallow the capsules whole with sufficient fluids and do not crush, chew, or open them.
  • If you experience severe stomach pain, vomiting, or sudden changes in your bowel habits, discontinue Creon and seek medical assistance.
  • Inform your doctor about all medications, vitamins, and herbal supplements you are using, as Creon might interfere with certain drugs.
  • Pregnant or breastfeeding women should check with their doctor before taking Creon.
