Ciprofloxacin/Dexamethasone Drops 5ml is a combined solution used to treat infections in the eyes and ears. It contains both an antibiotic and a corticosteroid, which work together to reduce inflammation, redness, and discomfort. Active Substances: Ciprofloxacin Hydrochloride 0.3% and Dexamethasone 0.1%

Suggested Use
Ciprofloxacin/Dexamethasone Drops are indicated for:
- Eye Infections: Treatment of bacterial conjunctivitis, keratitis, and other bacterial infections of the eye.
- Ear Infections: Treatment of acute otitis media and otitis externa.
Dosage:
For Eye Infections:
- Instil 1-2 drops into the affected eye(s) every 2 hours during the day for the first 2 days.
- Reduce to 1-2 drops every 4-6 hours as symptoms improve.
- Continue treatment for at least 7 days or as prescribed by the physician.
For Ear Infections:
- Instil 3-4 drops into the affected ear(s) twice daily for 7-10 days, or as directed by a healthcare professional.
- The patient should lie on their side for a few minutes to allow the medication to penetrate the ear canal.
Warning
- Hypersensitivity: Avoid use in patients allergic to ciprofloxacin, dexamethasone, or other fluoroquinolones.
- Contact Lenses: Remove contact lenses before application in the eyes and wait at least 15 minutes before reinsertion.
- Viral/Fungal Infections: Do not use for viral or fungal eye infections, as the corticosteroid component may worsen these conditions.
- Pregnancy and Lactation: Use with caution during pregnancy or breastfeeding unless prescribed by a doctor.
- Prolonged Use: Extended use may result in secondary infections, increased intraocular pressure, or cataract formation in the eyes.
- Children: Use in children under 12 years should be under strict medical supervision.
- Avoid Contamination: Do not touch the tip of the dropper to any surface to prevent contamination.
