Cefasyn 500mg Tablets are prescribed for various infections such as:

  • Respiratory tract infections,
  • Skin and soft tissue infections,
  • Urinary tract infections,
  • Lyme disease,
  • Sinusitis,
  • Otitis media, Pharyngitis, and
  • Tonsillitis.

Warning

  • Do not use cefuroxime axetil if you have allergies to it or other cephalosporins.
  • Be cautious if you have kidney problems and adjust the dosage accordingly.
  • It may cause severe allergic reactions and Clostridium difficile-associated diarrhoea. Seek medical attention if you experience severe diarrhoea.
