Cataflam 25mg Tablets offer quick relief for mild to moderate pain and inflammation. They act quickly by decreasing the substances in the body that trigger pain and swelling. Ideal for short-term use. Active Substance:
Diclofenac Potassium 25mg per tablet.

Suggested Use
Cataflam 25mg Tablets are used for the short-term treatment of:
- Post-traumatic pain, inflammation, and swelling (e.g., sprains)
- Post-operative pain, inflammation, and swelling (e.g., after dental or orthopedic surgery)
- Painful and/or inflammatory gynecological conditions (e.g., primary dysmenorrhea, adnexitis)
- Migraine attacks
- Painful vertebral column syndromes
- Non-articular rheumatism
- Severe painful inflammatory infections of the ear, nose, or throat (e.g., pharyngotonsillitis, otitis)
Dosage and Administration:
Adults and Adolescents (12 years and older):
- The recommended dose is 25-50 mg, taken up to three times daily.
- The maximum daily dose should not exceed 150 mg.
- Tablets should be taken with food or after meals to minimize gastrointestinal side effects.
Children (below 12 years):
- Not typically recommended unless advised by a healthcare professional.
Warning
Cataflam carries several important warnings:
- Long-term use or high doses can increase the risk of serious cardiovascular events, such as heart attack or stroke. It should not be used just before or after coronary artery bypass graft surgery.
- There is a risk of serious gastrointestinal bleeding, ulceration, or perforation which can occur without warning. This risk is heightened in older adults.
- Caution is advised in patients with impaired kidney or liver function.
- Patients with known allergies to NSAIDs should avoid Cataflam.
