Brufen Paediatric Suspension effectively reduces pain and inflammation. It is used for the short-term treatment of fever and mild to moderate pain in children over the age of 1 year. Active Substances: Ibuprofen 100 mg per 5 ml.

Suggested Use
Brufen Paediatric Suspension is indicated for:
- Relief of mild to moderate pain, such as teething pain, headache, earache, or sore throat.
- Reduction of fever in cases of colds, flu, or other infections.
- Management of inflammatory conditions such as juvenile idiopathic arthritis.
Dosage
Always use as directed by a healthcare professional.
- Children aged 1–2 years: 2.5 ml, 3–4 times daily.
- Children aged 3–7 years: 5 ml, 3–4 times daily.
- Children aged 8–12 years: 10 ml, 3–4 times daily.
Administration Instructions:
- Shake the bottle well before use.
- Use the provided measuring spoon or syringe for accurate dosing.
- Allow at least 6 hours between doses.
Warning
- Do not use:
- In children under 6 months of age without medical advice.
- If the child has a known allergy to ibuprofen or any other NSAID.
- If the child has a history of stomach ulcers, bleeding disorders, or severe kidney or liver impairment.
- Use with caution in:
- Children with asthma, as NSAIDs can trigger bronchospasms.
- Cases of dehydration due to the increased risk of kidney damage.
- Possible side effects:
- Gastrointestinal discomfort, such as nausea, vomiting, or diarrhea.
- Rarely, allergic reactions like rash, swelling, or breathing difficulties.
- Consult a doctor immediately if:
- The child’s symptoms persist for more than 3 days.
- Any signs of allergic reactions, severe abdominal pain, or bloody stools occur.
