Beclomin Ointment treats different skin conditions, particularly those that come with inflammation and itching. It provides anti-inflammatory, antifungal, and antibacterial properties, offering rapid relief and promoting skin healing. Active Substances Beclometasone Dipropionate 0.025%, MIconazole 2% and Neomycin Sulfate 0.5%.
Anti-Fungals
Suggested Use
Beclomin Ointment is used for the treatment of:
- Eczema and dermatitis.
- Psoriasis with secondary bacterial or fungal infections.
- Fungal skin infections like ringworm, athlete’s foot, and candidiasis.
- Inflammatory skin conditions complicated by bacterial infections.
Dosage and Application:
- Dosage: Apply a thin layer of Beclomin Ointment to the affected area 1-2 times daily or as directed by a healthcare professional.
- Application Instructions:
- Clean and dry the affected area before application.
- Apply a small amount of ointment and gently rub it in until absorbed.
- Wash your hands thoroughly after application, unless the hands are the area being treated.
Warning
- Do not use if allergic to any of the active ingredients or other components of the ointment.
- Avoid prolonged use, especially on large areas of skin, as it may cause systemic absorption of corticosteroids or antibiotics.
- Do not apply:
- On broken or open wounds.
- Near the eyes, mouth, or mucous membranes.
- For external use only. Do not ingest.
- Use with caution in children, as they may absorb more medication due to a higher skin surface area-to-body weight ratio.
- Pregnancy and breastfeeding: Consult your healthcare provider before use.
- Discontinue use if irritation, redness, or worsening of the condition occurs, and seek medical advice.
- Avoid concurrent use of other topical corticosteroids or antibiotics without medical guidance.
