Asomex-LT Tablets contain two active ingredients that work together to help manage high blood pressure. This dual-action formulation provides effective control over blood pressure and may also be used to manage conditions such as heart failure or chronic kidney disease, especially in patients with hypertension. Active Substances Amlodipine 2.5mg and Losartan Potassium 50mg per tablet.

Suggested Use
Asomex-LT is primarily used for the treatment of:
- Treatment of hypertension (high blood pressure).
- Management of heart failure.
- Chronic kidney disease in patients with hypertension, especially those with type 2 diabetes.
- Prevention of stroke in patients with high blood pressure and an increased risk of stroke.
Dosage:
- The usual dose for adults is one tablet once a day, depending on the prescribed strength.
- It is important to follow the doctor’s instructions regarding the dosage, as it may vary based on individual conditions and treatment goals.
- The tablet can be taken with or without food, but it should be taken at the same time each day for consistency.
Warning
- Not recommended during pregnancy or breastfeeding. Consult a doctor if you are pregnant, planning to become pregnant, or breastfeeding.
- Monitor kidney function regularly, especially if you have a history of kidney problems.
- Liver disease: Use with caution in patients with liver disease.
- Regular monitoring of blood pressure, potassium levels, and kidney function is necessary, especially in elderly patients.
- Some people my experience dizziness, swelling of the feet or ankles, fatigue, or a slow heart rate. Report any unusual symptoms to your doctor.
- Inform your healthcare provider of all medications you are taking, including over-the-counter drugs, as Asomex-LT may interact with other medications.
