Amlodipine Tabs, also known as Amlodipine Besylate, is a drug classified as a calcium channel blocker. It is administered in oral tablet form and is available in different strengths, such as 2.5 mg, 5 mg, and 10 mg.

Amlodipine Tablets are prescribed for the management of hypertension, vasospastic angina, and angina associated with coronary artery disease. The standard starting dose for adults is 5 mg to be taken orally once daily. The maintenance dose typically falls within the range of 5 to 10 mg taken orally once daily. The maximum daily dose is 10 mg. Patients who are elderly or have liver impairments may require a lower dosage.
