Suggested Use
Rolac is indicated for:
- Short-term (up to 5 days) management of moderately severe to acute pain that requires analgesia at the opioid level, typically following surgical procedures.
- It is not recommended for chronic pain management or long-term use due to potential side effects associated with prolonged NSAID therapy
Dosage:
- Recommended Dose: 10 mg every 4 to 6 hours as needed.
- Maximum Daily Dose: Do not exceed 40 mg per day.
- Duration of Use: Treatment should not exceed 5 days. Patients should transition to alternative analgesics as soon as feasible
Warning
- Short-term Use Only: Not recommended for chronic use.
- Not recommended during pregnancy, labour, or breastfeeding.
- Side Effects: May include nausea, dyspepsia, gastrointestinal pain, abdominal discomfort, constipation, drowsiness, dizziness, headache, and anaphylaxis.
- Patients with a known hypersensitivity to Ketorolac or other NSAIDs should avoid using this medication
