Suggested Use
Etorix 90mg Tablets are indicated for the treatment of:
- Osteoarthritis (OA) for the relief of pain and inflammation
- Rheumatoid arthritis (RA) for symptom control
- Ankylosing spondylitis, providing effective pain relief
- Acute gouty arthritis to manage pain and swelling
- Moderate to severe pain associated with other musculoskeletal conditions
Always follow your doctor’s prescription, as the dose and duration depend on the specific condition and patient response. Take the tablet orally with water, with or without food. Try to take it at the same time each day.
Warning
- Although COX-2 selective, Etorix can still cause stomach ulcers and bleeding, especially in prolonged use or high doses. Monitor for symptoms of gastrointestinal discomfort.
- Etoricoxib may increase the risk of heart attack or stroke, especially in long-term use or in patients with pre-existing heart conditions. Discuss risks with your doctor.
- Avoid Etorix if you have severe liver or kidney impairment. Regular monitoring of kidney and liver function is recommended for patients on prolonged therapy.
- Etorix should be avoided during pregnancy and breastfeeding unless clearly needed and prescribed by a doctor.
- Not recommended for children and adolescents under 16 years.
- Avoid using with other NSAIDs, including aspirin, and discuss any other medications you are taking with your healthcare provider to avoid interactions.
