Gaviscon Double Action Tablets provide fast, soothing, and long-lasting relief from heartburn and indigestion. They work in two ways: neutralizing excess stomach acid and forming a protective barrier over the stomach contents to prevent reflux.
Each chewable tablet contains:
- 250 mg Sodium Alginate (forms a protective barrier)
- 106.5 mg Sodium Bicarbonate (neutralizes stomach acid)
- 187.5 mg Calcium Carbonate (neutralizes stomach acid)

Suggested Use
Gaviscon Double Action Tablets are used to relieve symptoms of:
- Heartburn
- Indigestion
- Acid reflux
Dosage:
- Adults and children 12 years and over: Take two to four tablets after meals and at bedtime, up to four times a day.
- Children under 12 years: Only take on medical advice.
- If symptoms persist after 7 days, consult your doctor.
Warning
- Avoid prolonged use.
- Take 2 hours apart from other medications.
- Consult your doctor if pregnant or breastfeeding.
- Do not take if you are allergic to any of the ingredients.
- Do not take with large amounts of milk or milk-products..
