Pedifen Tablets provide relief from pain, swelling, and fever. Each tablet contains 400 mg of Ibuprofen, a nonsteroidal anti-inflammatory drug (NSAID) effective for various conditions requiring pain or fever management.

Suggested Use
Pedifen Tabs are used for the symptomatic treatment of:
- Mild to moderate pain (especially pain with an inflammatory component)
- Fever
- Primary dysmenorrhea (menstrual cramps)
- Mild to moderate inflammation (especially of the musculo-articular system)
Dosage:
- Adults and children aged 12 years and above: The initial dose is 400 mg, followed by 400 mg to 800 mg every 4 to 6 hours as needed. The maximum dose is 1200 mg (or 3 tablets) per 24 hours. It is advisable to take Pedifen with food to minimize stomach upset.
- Children aged 6 months to 12 years: An oral suspension form of Pedifen is recommended for correct dosages relative to body weight.
Warning
- Do not use Pedifen if you are allergic to ibuprofen or other NSAIDs.
- Use the lowest effective dose for the shortest duration necessary to relieve symptoms. Take with food to reduce the risk of gastrointestinal side effects.
- Use with caution in patients with mild to moderate renal or hepatic impairment. Contraindicated in severe cases.
- Pregnancy and Breastfeeding: Consult your doctor before use.
- Avoid use if you have a history of peptic ulcers, bleeding disorders, or asthma.
