Doloact MR Tablets are a combination medication used primarily for the relief of pain associated with muscle spasms and various musculoskeletal conditions. Each Doloact MR Tablet contains: Diclofenac Sodium: 50 mg, Paracetamol: 325 mg and Chlorzoxazone: 250 mg.

Suggested Use

Doloact MR Tablets are indicated for:

  1. Relieving pain and inflammation in muscles, joints, and bones associated with conditions such as arthritis, spondylitis, and injuries.
  2. Easing muscle spasms and associated discomfort in acute musculoskeletal conditions.
  3. Post-operative pain management to reduce inflammation and swelling.

 

Dosage:

The typical adult dosage is one tablet taken orally two to three times daily, preferably after meals to minimize gastrointestinal discomfort.

The maximum recommended duration of treatment is 10 days.

However, the exact dosage and duration should be determined by a healthcare professional based on individual patient needs and medical conditions.

Warning

  • Do not use if you are allergic to Diclofenac, Paracetamol, Chlorzoxazone, or any other NSAIDs.
  • May increase the risk of gastrointestinal bleeding, ulcers, or perforation. Use with caution if you have a history of such conditions.
  • Liver and Kidney Function: Use with caution in patients with impaired liver or kidney function. Regular monitoring may be required.
  • May increase the risk of heart attack or stroke, especially with prolonged use or in patients with existing heart conditions.
  •  Not recommended during pregnancy, especially in the third trimester, or while breastfeeding unless deemed necessary by a healthcare provider.
  • Avoid alcohol as it may increase the risk of liver damage and enhance drowsiness.
  • May cause dizziness or drowsiness; avoid driving or operating heavy machinery until you know how the medication affects you.
  • Inform your doctor about all medications you are taking, as Doloact MR can interact with other drugs, including blood thinners, other NSAIDs, and certain antihypertensives.
