Canditral 100mg Capsules eradicate a variety of fungal infections. They suppress the production of ergosterol, a crucial component of fungal cell membranes, leading to cell membrane disruption and ultimately the death of the fungus. Active Substance: Itraconazole 100mg per capsules.

Suggested Use
Canditral is indicated for the treatment of various fungal infections, including:
- Onychomycosis: Fungal infections of the nails.
- Dermatophytoses: Skin infections caused by dermatophytes.
- Tinea Versicolor: A fungal infection that causes discolored patches on the skin.
- Oropharyngeal and Esophageal Candidiasis: Fungal infections in the mouth and throat.
- Vulvovaginal Candidiasis: Recurrent vaginal yeast infections.
- Chronic Mucocutaneous Candidiasis: Persistent fungal infections affecting mucous membranes.
- Pulmonary and Extrapulmonary Aspergillosis: Serious infections caused by Aspergillus species
Dosage:
- The typical dosage for adults is 100 mg once daily, which may be adjusted based on the specific infection being treated and the patient’s response to therapy. Take with food to enhance absorption.
Warning
- Do not take Canditral if you have a history of heart failure. Symptoms such as shortness of breath, swelling of feet or ankles, sudden weight gain, and increased tiredness should be reported immediately.
- Canditral can cause serious liver problems. Symptoms like tiredness, loss of appetite, nausea, vomiting, dark urine, and jaundice should be reported to your healthcare provider.
- Inform your doctor if you are pregnant or planning to become pregnant. The medication should only be used during breastfeeding if recommended by your doctor.
- Canditral may interact with other medications, so inform your doctor about all the medicines you are taking.
- Seek emergency medical attention if you experience symptoms like skin rash, tingling sensation in arms and legs, difficulty breathing, or swelling of face, lips, tongue, or neck.
