Calpol Infant Suspension is a safe choice for relieving pain and fever in infants and young children. It effectively treats mild to moderate discomfort and fever caused by teething, vaccinations, colds, and flu. The sweet flavour makes it easy to give and gentle on young stomachs. Suggested Use
Calpol Infant Suspension is indicated for:
- Relief of mild to moderate pain (e.g., headache, toothache, earache)
- Reducing fever associated with infections or post-immunization
- Soothing discomfort from teething and colds
Dosage:
The dosage of Calpol Infant Suspension varies by age and weight:

For infants receiving vaccinations at 2, 3, and 4 months, a dose of 2.5 ml can be given starting immediately after vaccination and repeated every 4-6 hours as needed, not exceeding 4 doses in a day
Warning
- Contraindications: Do not administer Calpol Infant Suspension if the child is allergic to any ingredients or if they are taking other medications containing paracetamol.
- Caution: Consult a doctor if the child has serious kidney or liver issues or if they have an inherited intolerance to fructose or other sugars.
- Dosage Limitations: Do not exceed the recommended doses; leave at least 4 hours between doses. If symptoms persist for more than two days after vaccination or if further doses are needed, seek medical advice.
