Calpol Infant Suspension 100ml is a trusted, fast-acting oral suspension that provides relief from mild to moderate pain and fever in infants and children. It is gentle on the stomach and suitable for infants as young as 2 months. Active Substance: Paracetamol 120mg per 5ml.

Suggested Use
Calpol Infant Suspension is used for:
- Relief of mild to moderate pain, such as:
- Teething discomfort.
- Headaches.
- Earaches.
- Sore throats.
- Reduction of fever associated with:
- Colds and flu.
- Post-vaccination reactions.
Dosage:
Dosage by Age Group:
- 2–3 months (post-vaccination): 2.5ml. Repeat after 4–6 hours if necessary (maximum 2 doses in 24 hours). Consult a doctor if symptoms persist.
- 3–6 months: 2.5ml every 4–6 hours as required (maximum 4 doses in 24 hours).
- 6–24 months: 5ml every 4–6 hours as required (maximum 4 doses in 24 hours).
- 2–4 years: 7.5ml every 4–6 hours as required (maximum 4 doses in 24 hours).
- 4–6 years: 10ml every 4–6 hours as required (maximum 4 doses in 24 hours).
Administration Tips:
- Shake the bottle well before use.
- Use the dosing syringe provided for accurate measurement.
- Do not exceed the stated dose.
Warning
- Do not use if:
- The child is under 2 months old unless advised by a doctor.
- The child has a known allergy to paracetamol or any of the excipients.
- Seek medical advice before use if:
- The child has liver or kidney disease.
- The child is taking other medications containing paracetamol.
- Overdose Risk:
- Exceeding the recommended dose can lead to serious liver damage. Seek medical attention immediately in case of overdose.
- Storage:
- Keep out of reach of children.
- Store below 25°C. Do not refrigerate.
- Discontinue use and consult a doctor if:
- Symptoms persist for more than 3 days.
- The child develops a rash, difficulty breathing, or other signs of an allergic reaction.
