Suggested Use
Always read the patient information leaflet before using this medicine.
- For children aged 6 to 12 years, administer two 5 ml spoonfuls every 6 hours.
- Do not exceed 4 doses in a 24-hour period.
- Limit use to a maximum of 5 days without consulting a healthcare professional.
Caution
- Discontinue use and seek medical attention if symptoms worsen or persist beyond 5 days.
- Consult physician before use if your child has ongoing medical conditions.
- Store at room temperature away from direct sunlight.
- Do not exceed recommended dosage.
- Keep out of reach of children.
- May cause mild drowsiness.
What's In It
Active ingredients in 5ml of Benylin Children’s Night Coughs: 7mg Diphenhydramine hydrochloride and 0.55 mg Levomenthol. Other ingredients are: Sorbitol solution, glycerol, ethanol, sodium carboxymethylcellulose, sodium citrate, citric acid monohydrate, sodium benzoate (E211), sodium saccharin, raspberry essence and purified water.
Warning
If symptoms persist or worsen, talk to your doctor or pharmacist. If anyone has too much, contact a doctor or your nearest Accident and Emergency Department (Casualty) taking the leaflet and pack with you. You should only give this medicine as required following the dosage instructions above carefully. If you forget to give a dose, give the next dose when needed provided that the last dose was at least 6 hours ago. Do not give a double dose.
