Augmentin 375mg is indicated for the treatment of the following infections:
- Upper respiratory tract infections (e.g., sinusitis, tonsillitis, otitis media).
- Lower respiratory tract infections (e.g., bronchitis, pneumonia).
- Skin and soft tissue infections (e.g., cellulitis, abscesses).
- Urinary tract infections (e.g., cystitis, pyelonephritis).
- Dental infections.
Dosage:
- Adults and children over 12 years: One tablet every 8 hours (three times a day), with or after meals to reduce gastrointestinal side effects.
- Children under 12 years: Dosage should be determined based on body weight and as advised by a healthcare professional.
- Duration of treatment typically ranges from 5 to 10 days, depending on the severity of the infection and clinical response.

Warning
- Do not take Augmentin if allergic to penicillins, clavulanic acid, or any excipients in the formulation. Inform your doctor of any history of hypersensitivity.
- Caution is advised in patients with a history of liver dysfunction or jaundice associated with previous use of Augmentin.
- Dose adjustments may be necessary for patients with moderate to severe renal impairment.

- Prolonged or repeated use may lead to fungal or bacterial superinfections.
