Diane-35 is a hormonal medication for women that treats androgen-dependent conditions, such as severe acne, oily skin, and excessive hair growth. It also serves as a contraceptive. The active ingredients, Cyproterone Acetate (2 mg) and Ethinylestradiol (0.035 mg) work together to reduce hormone levels, improving skin clarity and reducing hair growth.

Warning

Diane-35 is contraindicated in pregnant and breastfeeding women.
It may increase the risk of blood clots, especially in smokers, women over 35, and those with a history of thromboembolic disorders.
Avoid use if there is a history of liver disease or liver tumours.
Consult a doctor if there is a history of cardiovascular issues, migraines, or hormone-sensitive cancers.
Certain medications (e.g., antibiotics, anticonvulsants) may reduce Diane-35’s effectiveness, so discuss any other treatments with a healthcare provider.
Possible side effects include nausea, headaches, breast tenderness, mood changes, and weight changes. Seek medical attention if any severe reactions, such as swelling, chest pain, or leg pain occur.
