Suresign Urinary Tract Infection Test Strips

Suggested Use

• Preparation: Allow the test strip and urine specimen to reach room temperature (15-30ºC or 59-86ºF) before testing.

• Collect Sample: You can either urinate directly onto the strip or collect urine in a clean container and dip the strip into it.

• Testing:

  • Hold the strip by the end farthest from the test pads.
  • Ensure the test pads are completely wet.
  • Lay the strip flat with the test pads facing upwards.

• Timing:

  • Read the nitrite result at 1 minute.
  • Read the leukocyte result at 2 minutes.

• Result Interpretation: Compare the color of the test pads to the provided color chart. A positive result will show a change in color: the leukocyte pad should turn beige to dark purple, while the nitrite pad should appear pink to red.
