It contains aromatic ingredients such as Menthol and Camphor to calm a cough, Eucalyptus to relieve catarrh and Eucalyptus and Menthol to relieve nose congestion. When the essential oils are released, they will help to clear the passages, promote easy breathing and relieve sore throats and coughs due to colds. VapoRub can also be melted into hot water and inhaled as a steam, soothing and clearing the passages.
Suggested Use
Directions: Adults: rub on chest, throat and back, leave night clothes loose or melt 2 teaspoonful in hot water and inhale vapors. Children over 2 years: apply lightly to chest and back. Leave clothes loose for easy inhalation.
Caution
Do not use this product for inhalation in children under the age of 12. Do not use this product if you are allergic to any of the listed ingredients. Do not bandage areas treated with this product tightly and do not use with a heat wrap.
What's In It
VapoRub is an ointment containing several essential oils: Turpentine oil 5% w/w, Camphor 5% w/w, Eucalyptus oil 1.5% w/w, Menthol 2.75% w/w.
