Precautions: Hypersensitivity to tetracyclines. systemic lupus erythromatosus. children and pregnant women.
Indications/Uses: Chronic bronchitis, rickettsial, chlamydial and mycoplasma infections, brucellosis. 200mg on day one then 100mg od.
Interactions: Milk, antacids, mineral substances reduce absorption. contraceptives effectiveness reduced.
Side Effects: Nausea. vomiting. diarrhoea. dysphagia. hypersensitivity reactions. anorexia. flushing. tinnitus.
