Indications/Uses: Gaba agonist used in absence seizures, mixed seizures; 600mg in divided doses.
Interactions: Decreased effect: carbamazepine, phenytoin, lamotrigine. increased effect: clonazepam, macrolides, isoniazid.
Side Effects: Mild gastro-intestinal and cns disturbances; nausea, drowsiness, headache. rash. hair loss. disorders of blood clotting. weakness. blurred vision.
