Suggested Use
Tres Orix Forte Capsules are indicated for:
- Anorexia in children and adults.
- Growth retardation and deficiency anorexia.
- Post-infectious anorexia.
- Emotional instability associated with anorexic crises.
- Conditions related to vitamin B12 deficiency.
- Supplementation during recovery from illness or surgery.
Dosage:
- Adults: Take one capsule before breakfast, lunch, and dinner.
- Children (7-12 years): Take one capsule twice daily.
Warning
- Do not use if hypersensitivity to any of the active ingredients.
- Not suitable for individuals with glaucoma or urinary retention.
- Use cautiously in patients with a history of asthma, gastrointestinal disorders, or hepatic impairment.
- Avoid concurrent alcohol consumption due to the sedative effect of cyproheptadine.
- May cause drowsiness, dry mouth, or dizziness.
- Allergic reactions, although rare, can occur (e.g., rash, itching).
- Pregnancy and Lactation: Consult a healthcare provider before use.
- Avoid concurrent use with monoamine oxidase inhibitors (MAOIs).
- Cyproheptadine may enhance the effects of sedatives or CNS depressants.
