Indications/Uses: Partial seizures with or without generalization; 100-400mg daily with food.
Interactions: Decreased effect: phenytoin, carbamazepine, valproic acid. increased effect: cns depressants. may decrease effect of digoxin, ethinyl estradiol.
Side Effects: Gastro-intestinal upsets. anorexia and weight loss. confusion. impaired concentration and memory. visual disturbances. mood disorders.
