Precautions: Hypersensitivity to nsaids, gi ulcers, severe renal or hepatic insufficiency. caution in hepatic porphyria, severe, active bleeding such as cerebral hemorrhage.
Indications/Uses: Rheumatiod arthritis, osteoarthritis, ankylosing spondylitis, pain after surgery/trauma 75-150 mg/day oral with food, or rectal. im route for severe conditions. topical as a 1% gel.
Interactions: Oral hypoglycaemics. digoxin. methotrexate.
Side Effects: Gastro-intestinal disorders. headache. vertigo. rash. rarely; peptic ulcer, hepatitis, hypersensitivity.
