Keppra 750mg Tablets are used to treat seizures. This antiepileptic drug helps control seizures by lowering unusual electrical activity in the brain. The tablets are film-coated, making them easy to swallow. The active ingredient is Levetiracetam 750mg.

Suggested Use
Keppra is indicated for:
- Monotherapy in the treatment of partial-onset seizures with or without secondary generalization in patients from 16 years of age.
- Adjunctive therapy in the treatment of:
- Partial-onset seizures with or without secondary generalization in adults and children from 4 years of age.
- Myoclonic seizures in adults and adolescents from 12 years of age with Juvenile Myoclonic Epilepsy.
- Primary generalized tonic-clonic seizures in adults and adolescents from 12 years of age with Idiopathic Generalized Epilepsy.
Dosage:
The dosage of Keppra is individualized based on the patient’s age, weight, and response to treatment.
Warning
- Avoid use in case of hypersensitivity to levetiracetam or any tablet excipients.
- May cause mood changes, depression, or suicidal thoughts. Patients should be monitored for any behavioural changes.
- Keppra may impair reaction times; caution is advised when driving or operating machinery.
- Do not discontinue abruptly to avoid increased seizure frequency. Gradual tapering is recommended under medical supervision.
- Regular monitoring is advised in patients with renal impairment.
- Use during pregnancy only if clearly needed. Levetiracetam is excreted in breast milk; breastfeeding is not recommended during treatment.
