Suggested Use
Flotac 75mg Capsules are indicated for:
- Treatment of moderate to severe pain, including pain associated with:
- Osteoarthritis
- Rheumatoid arthritis
- Ankylosing spondylitis
- Acute musculoskeletal disorders
- Post-operative pain
- Management of dysmenorrhea (painful menstruation).
Adults: The typical dosage is one capsule (75mg) taken once or twice daily, depending on the severity of the condition. The maximum recommended dose is 150mg per day. Capsules should be taken with a full glass of water and can be consumed with or without food to minimize gastrointestinal irritation.
Note: Dosage adjustments may be necessary for elderly patients or those with renal or hepatic impairment. Always consult a healthcare professional before starting treatment.
Warning
- Prolonged use of NSAIDs, including Flotac, may increase the risk of gastrointestinal bleeding, ulceration, or perforation. Monitor for signs of gastrointestinal discomfort.
- Use with caution in patients with a history of cardiovascular disease, as NSAIDs may increase the risk of heart attack or stroke.
- Patients with renal impairment should use Flotac with caution due to potential deterioration of kidney function.
- Do not use Flotac if you are allergic to Diclofenac, Cholestyramine, or any other components of the formulation.
- Use during pregnancy and lactation is not recommended unless deemed essential by a healthcare provider.
