If you miss a dose, take it as soon as you remember unless it’s almost time for your next dose. Do not take two doses at the same time to make up for a missed dose.

Warning

  • Prolonged use of Esomeprazole may increase the risk of bone fractures, low magnesium levels, and vitamin B12 deficiency. Regular medical checkups are advised.
  • Use with caution in patients with impaired kidney function.
  • Dose adjustments may be necessary for patients with liver problems.
  • Seek medical attention if you experience any signs of an allergic reaction such as rash, itching, swelling, or difficulty breathing.
  • Inform your doctor of all other medications you are taking, as Esomeprazole may interact with drugs such as warfarin, diazepam, and some antifungals.
  • Esofag is not suitable for immediate relief of acute heartburn symptoms. It is for longer-term management.
  •  Consult your healthcare provider before using this medication during pregnancy or breastfeeding.
