Duloxetine 60 mg capsules are commonly prescribed for nerve pain and mood disorders. As a serotonin-norepinephrine reuptake inhibitor (SNRI), it increases serotonin and norepinephrine levels in the brain, aiding mood stabilization and pain relief. Each capsule contains 60 mg of Duloxetine Hydrochloride.

Suggested Use
Duloxetine 60 mg capsules are indicated for:
- Major depressive disorder (MDD)
- Generalized anxiety disorder (GAD)
- Diabetic peripheral neuropathic pain
- Chronic musculoskeletal pain, including conditions like osteoarthritis and chronic back pain
- Fibromyalgia
The capsule should be swallowed whole and taken with or without food, preferably at the same time each day. Your doctor determines the required dosage based on the condition being treated.
Warning
- Duloxetine may increase the risk of suicidal thoughts and behaviours in children, adolescents, and young adults. Patients should be monitored closely.
- Use with caution in patients with liver or severe renal impairment.
- SNRIs may increase the risk of bleeding, especially in patients taking anticoagulants or antiplatelet drugs.
- Monitor blood pressure, as duloxetine may cause an increase.
- Abrupt discontinuation may lead to withdrawal symptoms. Taper off slowly under medical supervision.
- Avoid combining duloxetine with monoamine oxidase inhibitors (MAOIs), other SNRIs, SSRIs, or substances that may cause serotonin syndrome.
- Use caution when engaging in activities requiring alertness, such as driving or operating machinery.
