DTS 10.3g Sachets are a specialized formulation designed for oral rehydration therapy. Each sachet contains a precise blend of electrolytes and glucose, aimed at replenishing lost fluids and essential minerals in the body, particularly during episodes of dehydration caused by diarrhoea, vomiting, or excessive sweating.Each 10.3g sachet contains:Sodium Chloride: 2.6g, Potassium Chloride: 1.5g, Sodium Citrate: 2.9g and Glucose Anhydrous: 10g.

Suggested Use
DTS sachets are used for:
- Preventing and treating dehydration caused by diarrhoea or vomiting.
- Rehydration during and after physical activity or excessive sweating.
- Maintaining electrolyte balance during illnesses or heat exposure.
Dosage and Administration:
- Preparation: Dissolve the contents of one sachet in 500ml of clean, boiled, and cooled water.
- Adults and Children:
- Take small sips frequently throughout the day.
- The exact dosage depends on the severity of dehydration and body weight. A common guideline is 10ml of solution per kilogram of body weight after each loose stool.
Warning
- General Warnings:
- Do not exceed the recommended dosage or concentration. Use only the prescribed amount of water to prepare the solution.
- Seek medical advice for severe dehydration or if symptoms persist despite treatment.
- Not Suitable For:
- Patients with kidney failure or severe electrolyte imbalances without medical supervision.
- Individuals with glucose intolerance or allergies to any of the ingredients.
- Storage:
- Store in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight. Keep out of reach of children.
- Side Effects:
- In rare cases, mild nausea or bloating may occur.
Additional Information:
