Daonil 5mg Tablets are an oral medication for managing blood sugar in type 2 diabetes. They stimulate the pancreas to produce more insulin, lowering blood glucose levels. Typically used alongside a healthy diet and exercise, the active ingredient is Glibenclamide 5 mg.

Suggested Use
Daonil 5mg is prescribed to lower blood sugar levels in adults with type 2 diabetes when diet and exercise are not enough. Take Daonil 5mg as directed by your doctor. Swallow the tablets whole with water. Do not crush or chew them. It is usually taken with food. Your doctor will decide the right dosage for you.
Warning
- Daonil can cause hypoglycemia (low blood sugar), especially if meals are skipped, alcohol is consumed, or if there is strenuous exercise without adequate caloric intake.
- Daonil is not effective for type 1 diabetes or diabetic ketoacidosis.
- Use with caution in patients with liver or kidney problems, as this may increase the risk of side effects.
- Not recommended for pregnant or breastfeeding women; alternative treatments are preferred.
- Avoid excessive alcohol consumption, as it may interfere with blood sugar control.
Possible Side Effects:
