Cilostazol is prescribed to help people with peripheral arterial disease walk longer distances without pain. It is for patients who haven’t improved enough from lifestyle changes.
The usual adult dose is 100mg twice a day, 30 minutes before or 2 hours after meals. The doctor may need to change the dose based on the patient’s response.
Warning
- Please avoid using Cilostazol if you have a history of heart failure, active bleeding, or severe renal or hepatic impairment.
- If you have cardiovascular disease, use caution and watch for heart-related side effects.
- Be cautious if you have bleeding disorders or are taking anticoagulants or antiplatelet medications.
