Additionally, Bongard is indicated for the treatment of Paget’s disease of bone in both men and women. The recommended dosage for osteoporosis treatment is 10 mg daily for both men and women, while postmenopausal women may take 5 mg daily for prevention. Alendronic acid can also be administered once weekly to postmenopausal women at a dose of 70 mg for osteoporosis treatment, or 35 mg for prevention.
