Benacort Nasal Spray contains Budesonide, a corticosteroid that effectively treats nasal allergy symptoms like congestion, sneezing, and runny nose. With 64 micrograms of Budesonide per spray, this anti-inflammatory medication reduces nasal inflammation and irritation, improving breathing.

Suggested Use
Benacort Nasal Spray is indicated for the relief of symptoms related to allergic rhinitis (hay fever), as well as for the management of nasal congestion, sneezing, and runny nose caused by seasonal or perennial allergies.
- The recommended dosage for adults and children aged 12 years and older is 2 sprays in each nostril once daily. Once symptoms are under control, the dose can be decreased to 1 spray in each nostril once daily.
- For children aged 6-11 years, the usual dose is 1 spray in each nostril once daily, with the option to increase to 2 sprays if necessary. It is not recommended for children under 6 years unless advised by a healthcare professional.
Warning
- Do not use this nasal spray if you are allergic to Budesonide or any of its components.
- Consult your physician before using if you have a history of tuberculosis, untreated infections, or eye issues like glaucoma or cataracts.
- Seek advice from your doctor if you are pregnant, planning to conceive, or breastfeeding.
- Consult your doctor before using if you have nasal sores, recent nasal surgery, or nasal trauma.
- Possible side effects include nasal dryness, nosebleeds, throat irritation, cough, and rare fungal infections.
- Seek medical help for severe allergic reactions or persistent side effects.
- Prolonged use may increase the risk of systemic side effects, so regular check-ups are advised for long-term users.
